Fairfax County Parks badge programs

Fairfax County Park Authority offers a variety of Girl Scout badge programs and new this year are Journey programs.

Below are some of interest to leaders of younger Girl Scouts:

DAISY PETALS
Make the World a Better Place
Oct. 3 3-4 p.m. Sully Historic Site
Cost is $6 per Scout; Sully patch available for $4.20 each. Call 703-437-1794 for reservations.

Using Resources Wisely
Oct. 2 1:30-2:30 p.m. Hidden Oaks Nature Center
Cost is $5 per Scout. Call Hidden Oaks Nature Center at 703-941-1065 for more information.
Oct. 3 2-3 p.m. Cub Run Rec Center.
Cost is $4 per Scout. Call Cub Run RECEnter, 703-817-9407, to reserve your space.

Each program is different and features three or more activities from the Journey books.

Daisy: Flower Garden

Mondays 2 p.m. Sept. 19, Oct. 17, Nov. 14, Dec. 12
Saturdays 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. Sept. 24, Oct. 22, Nov. 19, Dec. 17
